Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
The short version
Your prayers are private. We collect only what we need to run your nightly prayer program, we never sell your personal information, and we never use your faith or your prayers for advertising.
This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Faith Minutes web app (https://app.faithminutes.com), any Faith Minutes mobile app, our quiz and checkout pages and our emails (the "Service").
Who we are
Faith Minutes is operated by Klapaucius Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). Principal office: 8200 NW 41st Street, 2nd Floor, Doral, FL 33166, USA. Registered agent: Registered Agents Inc, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Email: support@faithminutes.com.
Klapaucius Group LLC is responsible for your personal information in the Service.
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and account details: your email address, your first name and your password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Quiz answers: gender, age group, prayer habits, the areas of life you want to pray about, your religious or church tradition and similar answers.
- Your writing: prayer requests, journal entries and messages to the AI companion.
- Settings: your reminder time and time zone.
- Messages you send to our support team.
Information created when you use the Service:
- Your progress: nights completed, streaks and milestones.
- Basic usage events, such as opening a night or finishing a prayer, used to run and improve the program.
- Technical data needed to keep the Service working and secure: device or browser type, app version, and, if you turn on reminders, the push notification token for your browser or device.
Information from our partners:
- From Stripe (payments): your plan, price, payment status, subscription dates and the email used at checkout. Stripe handles your card; we never see or store your full card number.
- From Zellify (our quiz and checkout host): the quiz answers you gave before buying, so your program can be personalized.
We do not collect advertising identifiers in the app, your precise location, your contacts or your photos.
Sensitive information: your faith and your prayers
Your religious beliefs and church tradition are sensitive personal information under many privacy laws. What you write in prayers and in your journal can also reveal sensitive things, like health, family or money worries.
We use this information only to provide the Service to you: to personalize your program, to show your prayers and journal back to you and to power the AI features you choose to use. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to make decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
By answering the quiz questions about your faith and by writing in the app, you consent to this use. Writing in the journal or the companion is always optional. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (Profile > Delete my account), which erases this information.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account and give you access to the program you bought.
- To personalize your nightly prayers, Scripture and recaps using your quiz answers.
- To provide the AI features (companion, reflections, rewritten prayers, recaps).
- To send the reminders you turn on.
- To send service emails: account access, password links, receipts, renewal reminders, cancellation and refund confirmations, and important changes.
- To manage billing, cancellations, refunds and support requests.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the program is used and improve it.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
How the AI features handle your words
When you use an AI feature, the text needed for that answer (for example, your question, your journal entry or your prayer request, plus your first name and program context) is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI models, only to produce the answer.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, the data we send is not used to train their models. Anthropic may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring, as described in its own policies. Please do not write anything in the companion that you would not want processed this way.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Faith Minutes, under contracts that limit their use of it to our instructions:
- Supabase: database, accounts and servers (United States, East region).
- Anthropic: AI for the companion and reflections (United States).
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions and the customer portal (United States).
- Zellify: quiz and checkout pages.
- Resend: transactional email delivery.
- Hostinger: web hosting for the app website.
- If you use a Faith Minutes app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handle the purchase, and Adapty keeps the subscription status for us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the safety of people or the Service, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to protect it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, ads and the quiz pages
The app uses your browser's local storage and similar technology only to keep you signed in, save your settings and make the app work offline. The app has no advertising cookies or advertising identifiers.
Our quiz and checkout pages, hosted by Zellify, may use cookies and advertising pixels (for example, from Meta) to measure which ads bring people to Faith Minutes. Some state laws call this "sharing" for targeted advertising. We never send your prayer requests, journal entries or companion messages to advertising platforms.
You can opt out of this ad measurement by turning on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request, or by emailing support@faithminutes.com with the subject "Do not sell or share".
How long we keep it
- Account, quiz answers, prayers, journal, companion messages and progress: while your account exists. When you delete your account, they are erased from our live database right away.
- Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for a short period (typically up to 30 days) until they are overwritten.
- Payment and billing records (for example, what was charged and refunded, and to which email): as long as we need them for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims, generally up to 7 years.
- Support emails: up to 3 years after the conversation ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls that let each person read only their own data, and limited team access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you suspect a problem.
Your choices
- Delete your account and its data at any time in the app: Profile > Delete my account. This also cancels a web subscription so you are not charged again.
- Change your reminder time in Profile, or turn reminders off in your browser or phone settings.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or to correct it, at support@faithminutes.com.
- Unsubscribe from any non-essential email with the link at the bottom of it. Service emails (receipts, renewal reminders, password links) are part of the subscription.
Your US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you have these rights, subject to the limits of your state's law:
- Know and access: what personal information we have about you and a copy of it.
- Correct: fix information that is wrong.
- Delete: have your personal information deleted.
- Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising: we do not sell; you can opt out of ad measurement on our quiz pages as explained above.
- Sensitive information: we use it only to provide the Service you asked for, and we process it based on your consent where the law requires it.
- Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
- Appeal: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the subject "Privacy appeal". If you are not satisfied with the appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General.
To make a request, email support@faithminutes.com from the email on your account (or tell us that email). We will confirm your identity by email and answer within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission.
California notice. In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (email, first name, account ID); characteristics of protected classifications (religion, gender, age group), which are sensitive personal information; commercial information (your plan and payments); internet or other electronic activity (use of the app); and inferences (the prayer profile drawn from your quiz answers). Sources: you, your device and our partners named above. Purposes: those listed in "How we use your information". We disclose them for business purposes only to the service providers named above. We have not sold personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16. California residents may also ask whether we shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.
Children
Faith Minutes is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email support@faithminutes.com and we will delete it.
Users outside the United States
Faith Minutes is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Service you understand that your information will be transferred there. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it by deleting your account. If the law of your country gives you additional rights (for example, in the European Union or the United Kingdom), contact us at support@faithminutes.com and we will honor them as that law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
